6. How it works

  1. The healthcare professional selects the criteria manually (wound type, exudate, location, size range, predominant tissue…). Validated WoundTrack II data can be displayed next to DressFit so the clinician has it at hand. Nothing is prefilled: DressFit does not receive the values.
  2. DressFit applies the facility's rules and retrieves the dressings listed in the protocol for those criteria.
  3. DressFit filters by stock and internal allocation rules.
  4. DressFit displays a filtered list of compliant dressings, with their characteristics, manufacturer indications, cost, and sustainability criteria. No ranking by clinical relevance.
  5. The healthcare professional chooses the treatment based on their clinical judgment.

Configured by the facility

  • The clinical content of the protocol and the selection criteria are defined and approved by the facility (pharmacy, wound care committee), under its responsibility. These criteria may include clinical indicators such as:
    • PAR4 indicator (percentage area reduction of a patient's wound at 4 weeks)
    • Custom notification thresholds for wound healing
  • Changes are restricted to authorised user profiles.

7. Warnings and precautions

DressFit is a tool for consulting and managing the facility's dressing protocol and dressing formulary. Based on the criteria entered by the healthcare professional, it displays the dressings listed in the facility's protocol and available in stock, along with their characteristics and cost.

DressFit does not analyse any patient data, does not perform any wound assessment, and does not make any individualised treatment recommendation. The content of the protocol and the selection criteria are defined and approved under the facility's responsibility. Treatment decisions rest solely with the clinical judgment of the healthcare professional.

DressFit is not a medical device within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (EU MDR) and is not within the scope of the WoundTrack II CE certification.

  • The results displayed depend on the accuracy and timeliness of the protocol, formulary, stock, and prices entered by the facility.
  • Manufacturer indications and contraindications take precedence in all circumstances.
